Golden inca berries will give your herbal tea a sweet-tart boost of Vitamin C. I like to make a cup of nettle tea and add my golden inca berries to my tea. I love nettle leaf tea because it’s an amazing plant that is known to help clear congestion, stimulates the digestive glands in the stomach, liver and intestines and helps ease skin irritation.
Combine your tea with golden Incan Berries and a squeeze of half a lemon and steep for 3-5 minutes. For a stronger cup of tea, let the bag sit in the water while the berries rehydrate and enjoy it all the way to the bottom. Then eat the softened berries. They’ll be moist and tart with crunchy seeds.
These berries are nutritional powerhouses. These berries contain Vitamin C, protein, B Vitamins (which are great for your central nervous system), pectin and even small amounts of melatonin, which helps regulate your body’s biorhythm. Enjoy!
